Elon Musk: In court, Grimes is suing Elon Musk for parenting rights.

The three kids singer Grimes has with billionaire Elon Musk are the subject of a legal petition regarding parental rights.

According to court documents, Claire Boucher, who goes by Grimes, submitted a plea “to establish parental relationship” on September 29.

In a since-deleted social media post, Grimes, 35, had previously accused Mr. Musk of restricting access to one of her sons.

At least 11 children have been born to Mr. Musk, 52, who has three separate wives.

The petition’s specifics were not publicly available when filed with the San Francisco Superior Court.

Grimes and Mr. Musk were unavailable for comment on the court complaint.

Grimes and Musk are parents to three kids: X A-1, also known as X, who was born in May 2020, and Exa Dark Siderael, also known as Y, who was conceived through surrogacy and delivered in December 2021.

A recent biography of Elon Musk by writer Walter Isaacson revealed the birth of a third child, a boy named Techno Mechanicus, or Tau, who was born in June of last year.

Grimes, with whom Mr. Musk had a sporadic connection from 2018 to 2021, said that he “should let me see my son or plz respond to my lawyer” in a since-deleted post last month.

According to reports, the tweet was made in reaction to a picture that Mr Isaacson had shared of twins that Mr Musk had with tech CEO Shivon Zilis.

Grimes stated in the post from September 7 that “I have never even been allowed to see a photo of these children until this moment, despite the situation utterly ripping my family apart.” A screenshot of the message was provided by the website Jezebel.

On September 10, Grimes apologized for the initial tweet and expressed her desire to keep “my babies out of the public eye” in a later message on X, the platform that replaced Twitter.

At least 11 children in total have been born to Mr. Musk, including six with his ex-wife, Canadian author Justine Musk.

Talulah Riley, a Westworld actress, was another woman he married twice. The couple were married for the first time in 2010, got divorced in 2012, got back together in 2013, and then got divorced in 2016.

Two further recent lawsuits have also been filed against the contentious tech tycoon.

On October 2, a California man filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk, claiming that Musk had harassed him as a result of a fake post he had amplified that had put him in the middle of a far-right demonstration in Oregon in June. Mr. Musk described the altercation as a “probably false flag situation” in one of the posts that the lawsuit cited.

The same day, an unrelated complaint was filed in Florida by X Social Media, which accuses Mr. Musk of violating its trademark by using the new name.
