Drake is taking a break from music to prioritize his health.

Drake has stated that he is taking a break from the music industry. He explained his decision by saying, “I need to focus on my health first.

The multiple Grammy winner revealed that he has had stomach problems for years just hours after his new album, For All The Dogs, was made available to the public.

On Friday on his radio show, he admitted, “I’m going to be honest, I probably won’t make music for a little bit.”
He announced that some scheduled appearances would be postponed.

The Hotline Bling artist stated, “I need to focus on my health, first and foremost – and I’ll talk about it soon enough.

“Nothing crazy, but just like, you know, I want people to be healthy in life, and I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach.”

On his SiriusXM show, Table For One, he announced, “I’m going to lock the door on the studio for a little while.”

“I have no idea what a tiny amount even is. possibly a year or so. possibly a bit longer.

Later, he shared a portion of the radio show on Instagram and left a message for his 143 million followers, saying, “See ya when I see ya.”

On Friday and Saturday night, he is slated to give concerts in Toronto, where he was born and raised.

The tour portion of his website states that performances scheduled for the days following that have been cancelled.

He was scheduled to appear in Columbus, Ohio, Denver, New Orleans, and Nashville.

Drake has recently taken a hiatus from music or postponed tour dates due to health reasons, joining a number of other singers.

As a result of being admitted to the hospital with a major bacterial infection the previous month, Madonna revealed in July that she was delaying her tour by three months.

Bruce Springsteen revealed last month that he was canceling his September tour dates owing to a peptic ulcer, a form of lesion in the small intestine or stomach lining.

Drake, 36, has emerged as one of hip-hop’s most popular performers.

His five-year-old son, who also appears in the music video for the single track 8AM in Charlotte, illustrated the cover of his most recent album.

He released a poetry book in the beginning of the year.
